About this listing
Hey guys! I've got a really nice guest bedroom in a really nice renovated apt. right smack in the middle of downtown.
Just to make things clear: this is a shared accommodation. I live in the apt. and share living spaces and bathroom.
The apt is fully renovated and in an open space configuration. The apt has it's own front door accessible with a short flight of stairs. (if stairs are a challenge for you, this listing is not for you) Once inside, you have another short flight of stairs to reach the apt located on the first floor.
The guest bedroom (that would be your room) is adjacent to the living space. My bedroom is toward the front of the building, away from any noise you could make. The guest bedroom gives onto a typical courtyard, away from the traffic noise.
You will have access to every living space including a nice balcony. The kitchen has everything you would need for meals if you need.
NOTE: The two things the apt doesn't have is a TV and an A/C unit. But there is a large fan available in your room.
You will have your towels and some toiletries waiting for you in your closet.
Interaction with guests
I work Mon through Fri 9:00AM to 5:00PM so I'm not really around the house during the day, and I'm fairly quiet during weeknights. But you can have people over for drinks or dinner...I've got no problem with that.
Also, sometimes my partner Marc stays over with me. You might get the chance to meet him. He's an airbnb host as well so he knows how to interact with guests.
Other things to note
I will not prepare breakfast for you... sorry... :-)
However, you will find in the kitchen what I refer to as an "emergency breakfast kit" which consists of coffee (there's a coffee maker), tea, milk, orange juice, a loaf of bread, peanut butter, jams and butter (sometimes eggs). You can check my Guidebook for breakfast spots nearby.
There is no smoking inside the apartment. There is, however, a nice balcony (protected from the rain) at your disposal for smoking.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
I'm from Montreal, french speaking but 100% fluent in english. I work as an architect, like good food, good wine, movies, very chill kinda guy.
I know the city like the back of my hand (bars, restaurants, concerts, museums, you name it!) so you'll have you're own guide right at home!
The thing I love most about travel is meeting new people so I can't wait to be able to that right at home!
