Small, but stylish and cosy real 1BR + 1 LOUNGE ROOM (NOT studio) apartment with brand new high quality IKEA furniture and fittings. Recently upgraded and refurbished: new appliances; quality floorboards, etc.
Uniquely situated in the heart of Melbourne, opposite the historic Flinders Street Station and next to the trendy Degraves Street and Flinders Line.
The apartment is quiet and peaceful, even though it is located on the main street.

The space

Stylish, recently upgraded cosy apartment with brand new furniture and fittings. Uniquely situated opposite Flinders Street Station and next to the cosmopolitan Degraves Street. Federation Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne Arts Center, Southbank precinct, Docklands, Casino, Elizabeth Street shops... all are just nearby and around the corner.
The apartment is NOT suitable for parents with infants or small children.

Guest access

You will use the single RFID Keyfob to enter the building, to use the lifts and to access the apartment.
Keep the keyfob with you all the time and do not lose it.

Your CHECK-IN time is from 12.00PM, round the clock
Your CHECK-OUT time is no later than 10.00AM.
* If you have other requirements on the check -in / out times , sure we are happy to discuss them BEFORE booking and to meet them, if the circumstances allow it.

Communal balcony (open 7AM - 11PM). The smoking and/or drinking alcohol of any kind is not allowed on this balcony.

Coin operated Laundry and Gym in the basement of the building.
24 Hour Security Guard on the site.

Interaction with guests

During reservation and check-in. By SMS and/or phone or email.
When you make an inquiry and/or reservation please submit:
- Your real life photo (Please, no avatars).
- Full names of persons, who is going to stay in apartment.
- Your check-in and check-out times.
- Mobile phone number if possible

Your ID must be verified.
If you can not provide your real photo or your documents are not verified, then unfortunately, booking is not possible.

Your check-out time has to be not later than 10.00AM.

Unfortunately I can not help you during your stay in the apartment, because I live far from the city.

Other things to note

The apartment comfortable for two adult people who SHARE one bed.
There is a sliding door between bedroom and lounge room.

If you have any special requests (for example, your local friend wants to spend one night in this apartment or one of the guests want to sleep alone on the sofa-bed in the living room), you have to SEND me a simple message with a description of your circumstances BEFORE making a request for a booking.
In this case I'll send you a SPECIAL OFFER that will include all the extras. You have the right to accept or reject it.
Unfortunately it's how the AIRBNB system works now and I can not accept cash payment outside the AIRBNB system.

If you want to use the sofa-bed for night sleep please send me a message about all your whishes BEFORE making a booking. You will receive a special offer which will include all the extra cost of additional set of bed linen, pillow, blanket etc.

Perfect location opposite Flinders Street Station, close to all the big attractions like Federation Square, the laneways and great bars. The apartment was clean, easy to access using the fob, and wifi connection was great. The host also left the fob in a perfect locker location for us to collect as we couldn't make the check-in time due to flight delays. Overall, a great 4-night stay.

Enjoyed my stay here. Place was conveniently located for all major attractions the city has to offer. Apartment was as listed - great condition and had all major facilities. I would recommended this to anyone travelling to Melbourne for business or personal reasons. Didn't get to meet Alexander but check in/out procedures were well document and he responded to any questions promptly. Thanks for a pleasant stay - Melbourne is a great City :)

Alexander was unable to meet up to hand over the keys. Arrangement was made to collect them at Southern Cross Station, which worked fine and very easy to follow Alexander's instructions. The apartment is consistent with other reviewers - centrally placed with easy access to everything.

The apartment can't be any closer to the centre of Melbourne so was great for access! The apartment was on the higher floor so not too bad in terms of street noise. The apartment is right by the shared roof terrace so there can potentially be a bit of noise directly out the bedroom window until 10 or 11pm. Degraves street around the corner is excellent for coffee, breakfast and lunch. There are also some great bars hidden down Flinders lane right behind the apartment. The apartment is small but fine for two people staying. The interior was very nicely decorated and there is ample space to hang things in the wardrobe. Alexander was very prompt to meet us and thorough with his instructions so staying there was a breeze. Overall a very nice stay in Alexander's apartment.
