From its industrial past Newcastle-upon-Tyne has matured into a spectacular and elegant city with a world class cultural reputation, a fabulous and vibrant quayside, and a fondness for partying. Factor in some of the most beautiful and unspoilt scenery in the country only a short journey out of Newcastle, including Hadrian's Wall, a world heritage site, top class shopping, theatre and restaurants plus the world famous Tyne Bridge and you have a thriving modern city in touch with its past but looking to the future confidently.
Newcastle is a compact city and a lot of it is accessible by walking, especially as the apartment is so centrally located. The quayside bus service will get you to most places in the city centre and passes by the apartment. For destinations further afield Newcastle Central Station is five minutes walk with mainline train connections (Durham is fifteen minutes travel; Edinburgh an hour) and a Metro station - Newcastle's urban train network. The Metro will get you to the coast and many Newcastle suburbs.

I own my own lettings business, Tyne Bridge Apartments, with a number of apartments on the quayside in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. One of the many pleasures of my job is meeting a broad range of guests from all over the world and ensuring that they have a great stay! I love interior design and I am proud of what we have to offer. I have lived in the North East of England all my life and my business is as much about showing Newcastle as the vibrant heart of a fantastic region as making a living.
