Stunning, newly converted barn with breathtaking views over the picturesque Chalke Valley.

The barn is idyllically situated in a remote location on a working arable farm, surrounded by acres of beautiful countryside.

Perfectly equipped with everything you need, within walking distance (45 minutes) to the local pubs and good transport links.

The space
You arrive at the barn 1 km from the nearest house down a rural track, to the peace and serenity of Sheepwell.

You enter the barn straight into the kitchen, open plan lower level living area with a mezzanine and balcony above. The best place to watch the sun go down and admire the captivating view.

Upstairs you'll find a luxurious double bedroom designed in such a way that you're still able to see the views out over the countryside. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and holds all the character of the barns' original structure throughout the building.

Where you’ll be

Salisbury, England, United Kingdom

In and around Wilton, Tisbury and Salisbury, you will find a wealth of cutting-edge art, fine food, cultural goings-on and appealing places to visit. The area is brimming with national landmarks, privately run country houses and enterprising, modern restaurants.

Head to Messums Wiltshire (10 minutes driving), the rural offshoot of Messums art gallery in Mayfair. The Tithe Barn, a recently restored 13th century monastic space, variously transforms to accommodate exhibitions. Stay for breakfast, lunch or dinner (weekends) at the Mess restaurant, where good food is served from pleasing ceramics and – best of all – you can sit outside, with a view of the barn and whatever sculptures are currently on display.

Also located nearby is Old Wardour Castle – just a ten-minute drive away.

A few great pubs within walking distance (45 minutes walking) include:

- The Compasses Inn, Chicksgrove
- The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe (accessible)
- The Horseshoe Inn, Ebbesbourne Wake
- The Greater Good, Fovant

Please don't hesitate to ask for phone numbers and about walking distances and times, as they vary.

Great local attractions which are great for children include:

- Longleat
- Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World
- Honeybrook Adventure Farm
- Cholderton Charlie's Farm

Other lovely places to visit are:

- Wilton House - an English country house with lovely gardens, child friendly play areas and stunning art collections for adults. Superb new-styled cafe.

- Stourhead, a 1,072-hectare estate at the source of the River Stour with a Palladian mansion and world-famous landscape gardens.

- New Forest National Park - The region is known for its heathland, forest trails and native ponies. In the southeast, the National Motor Museum houses F1 race cars and vintage motorbikes. Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway is home to exotic trees, plus colourful rhododendrons and azaleas. Owls, otters and wolves are among the residents of New Forest Wildlife Park.

The City of Bath is just an hour's drive away, located in the ceremonial county of Somerset, known for its Roman-built bath, great shopping and stunning architecture.
