The space
The property is 1000 sq ft spacious private area with attached terrace, big and open enough to accommodate a family of 4 person without feeling any kind of suffocation.
The space is located on the 2nd floor of my residential home where I stay with my family at 1st floor.
Guests are hereby informed that the entry to the house and the staircase till first floor would be a common space, as in the cases of any Flat or Apartment, where entry to the flat/building and staircases are part of common corridor. Given it is my residence where I live with my family, and concepts of flats are standalone unit with Gatekeeper and other facilities, the category has been kept under 'Home'.
You have a Separate floor to access which has its own Private Entry Gate, ensuring you full privacy. Benefits such as TV, WiFi , Music system, Open Terrace many more; shall keep you fresh and stay connected to the world.
The Open Terrace is perfect place to do a little stretching and free hand exercises in the morning or evening, which shall make you feel fresh and fit for the day.
During full moon night the terrace lights up bright with the moon shine, which makes one feel blessed to absorb the natural energy created and sent by the mighty moon. If you are lucky enough to find a less cloudy day, it is an absolute delight to do star gazing from the terrace space at night.
The Open spacious Living room has a single bed ( extra ) equipped, which finds a sweet spot for a vivid Reader's digest.
As the surrounding here is very peaceful this place is perfect for the Guests who are having an important assignments at hand.
We also provide delicious and good quality home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day of your stay, at very reasonable price and make sure you never go dry on your taste buds on any time of the day.

Situated in Birati ( North Dum Dum Municipal Area - North Kolkata ) nearly at the midst of Kolkata Airport and Ganga River ( Dakshineswar Ghat ), the Airport is only 4 Kms from Home. It takes only 10 mins to reach Airport at the morning or midnight when there is no traffic.
The house enjoys a great position who wants to explore and travel Kolkata at a pocket friendly price.
The home is just beside ( 2 mins walking ) Birati Railway Station. The Local train network is fast and robust connecting you directly to places like Kolkata Station, Princep Ghat, Eden Gardens, Ballygunge, Barabazar, Sealdah, Dum Dum Station / Dum Dum Metro ( nearest metro ), Madhyamgram, Barasat at Rs. 5 only.
The main road is 3 mins walking from home. Walking to the main road ( Underneath the Birati Flyover ) you get Autorickshaw to Belgharia station ( 10-15 mins by Autorickshaw from Birati ) where you can get direct local trains to Barrackpore, Naihati, Krishnanagar and Ranaghat.
From Belgharia station you have direct autorickshaws to Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Once at Dakshineswar you could easily travel to Swami Vivekanand's Ashram Belur Math ( By Car it takes 20-25 minutes to reach Dakshineswar temple from home ).
From Birati station, autorickshaws are also available directly to 'Airport 2 no. Gate' and 'Birati More' from where you will get intracity buses, intercity buses and buses across broder to Bangladesh. Intracity buses connects directly to Howrah, Dharmtalla, Babughat, BBD Bagh, Garihat, Garia, Newtown, Salt Lake, Nagerbazar, VIP Road, Ultadanga, BBD Bagh etc. For intercity travel your could get direct Buses from 'Birati More' to Siliguri or Digha and to Bardhaman from 'Airport 2 no. gate.'
Some bus services starts directly from Birati like
1) Birati Mini bus which goes to BBD bagh
2) Bus no. 237 which goes to Babughat Bus Stand.
Prominent Expressways like Belgharia and Kalyani Expressway is only 5 mins drive from home.
Totos, normal Rickshaw are always available from home. From the main road you may avail rickshaw directly to home.
The way to home from the main road is through bustling Birati Sinchan Market ( 3 mins walking from home ). We share 3 video routes to our Guests to choose the best route to travel.
Being near the Airport the Radio cab / scooter services are 24 hours available, to and from your Airbnb home.

The Open Terrace, Drawing/Living Room & Dinning area, The Washroom and the Bedroom belongs to the Guest for personal use.

Additional rules
- - Check in Time is 11 a.m and Check out time is 10 a.m
- - If you wish to stay longer than 10 a.m, it is chargeable and can only be permitted if the room is available. Kindly let us know to avoid any inconvenience.
- - Make sure no colour items / ink or substance alike fall on any furniture / table / bed sheets / sofa covers. Any stain found is subjected to penalty.
- - Do not Eat or Smoke on the Bed.
- - Please switch off the AC / lights when not in use.
- - Use the AC remote to switch off the AC. Do not use the main switch to switch it off directly.
- - Do not keep the windows or doors open while the AC is switched on.
- - Do not paste any Hologram Stickers of Liquor bottels or Packaged Food items on any object of the room. If found penalty will be charged.
- - Do no put any hot objects directly on the table or any furnitures.
- - Remember to switch off the bathroom geyser.
- - Govt. issued ID needed for every stay.
- - Every guest who is staying, including the person who is booking the space, must share their Valid Government ID proof while Check-in. The IDs must be shared via E-Mail/ Multimedia Messaging/ Physical Photocopies. I shall share my contact details once the booking is completed.
- - Foreign nationals are requested to show valid Passport/Visa and to submit the photocopies of the relevant pages.
- - Airport pick and drop services to home available for considerable rates (Car- Alto).
- - For your safety outside guests are not allowed.
- - Kindly maintain the cleanliness in the house as you do at your own home.
- - Kindly restrain from making Noise which may cause discomfort to the neighbors.
- - Guests are required to dump the garbage in the dustbin before leaving the space. This includes Ciggarate Buds & ashes, bottles, disposable glass & plates, boxes, chips bag, food wastes etc. If guest require any extra dustbin bags, please fell free to ask for it.
All good relationships are built on trust, clear communication and to be there for each other.
As guest sets high expectations from us, we put in all our sincere efforts to accomodate them and their request with love and care, but we also have few expectations from our guest.
We wish our guests to have understanding of Bread and Breakfast concept of Airbnb rooms, and to have a clear thought in mind that they aren't booking for a Hotel room for this property, with hotel par services and amenities.
I am a retired bank manager and love investing my time on people. I have seen some ages hence guests are expected to co-operate accordingly, and make both of our experience to be flourishing and beautiful.
