Interaction with guests
I own a small business and am quite busy. When home, I spend most of my time in the kitchen, on the front porch or sleeping. :)
I have one human roommate and perhaps an additional Airbnb guest in another room. Both year-round occupants work full-time and then some. We may just pass like ships in the night.
Other things to note
The house is located on the east end of Pittsburgh with easy access (by car, walking, biking or busing) to many amenities-grocery stores, universities, libraries, museums, coffee shops, bus lines, public parks, restaurants, bars, etc. There is also a Target two blocks away.
No smoking inside the house (the porch or back yard are available). Clean up after yourself in the kitchen. Lock the doors when leaving.
The only space in the house that is off-limits to guests are the private bedrooms of the other occupants.
You are welcome to invite guests as long as notice is provided.
We love pets, but do have some important pet rules. If you will be bringing your pet, a crate is both available and required use if you plan to leave them at the house for any length of time while you are exploring the city. A security deposit will also be added in the case of a pet traveler companion.
No third party bookings except in very special circumstances. Message me.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

I like to set my guests up for a great visit to this city I love. I provide items guests may need or have forgotten to bring along. I do my best to take care of the small details in order that guests can enjoy their visit to the fullest and have a restful place to come back to at the end of the day.
I'm a small business owner in specialty coffee here in Pittsburgh. I'm exceptionally busy. When I'm home, I'm often still working, getting caught up on the Walking Dead (zombie TV show) or sleeping.
I love company at the house. I'm often told the house is super cozy. Currently, I've got one housemate. Both of us work full-time and then some and pass like ships in the night, sadly.
I love hosting, mostly friends over the years, but am learning how to be a good host to strangers, as well.
I love live music, laughter, coffee, my friends, sitting on my front porch and sometimes out back at the fire-pit . I cook simple meals and spend as much time outside as possible, which is difficult as my work requires me to be indoors 6-7 days/week.
I've lived in this same house for over 9 years. I've seen neighbor kids grow up, graduate high school and go to college. This house has been a gift to me and I'm happy to share it.
