The space
Elvish is spoken here… The Treehouse is tucked away at the top of the garden, a quirky little hideaway for a couple. It has its own parking space a few yards away. Inside, on the left, is a coat rail, then up 3 steps you find yourself in the bedroom, with double bed and clothes rail/seating space. There is also an extra hanger for long clothes – generally used for evening/wedding wear, plus under-bed storage. The Treehouse is heated very well by a Dimplex radiator, and in the wet room, an infrared wall heater. There is also a stone hot water bottle if one wishes to revisit the past.

The tiny kitchen has a 2-gas hob, microwave, Dualit small oven, fridge, single sink and draining board, and cupboards below with appropriate cookware and crockery. Drawer above for cutlery, and hanging rack containing batterie de cuisine – scissors, tongs, whisk, spatula etc. etc.

The dining area has a table for 2, whilst down 2 steps is the wet room, with shower, washbasin and toilet. Pullout washing line. Outside, go round and discover steps leading down to a little patio, known as the “rust garden” with its collection of sculptures created from the agricultural throw-outs lovingly collected or dug up from the surrounding fields, reminders of when Foel Ortho was a working farm. Undercover washing line. A garden table and 2 comfy chairs get the afternoon sunshine, or one can sit on the bench in the covered area and admire the pouring rain!

Kindly be aware that the Wi-Fi may experience disruptions during inclement weather, as our location is quite rural.

Guest access
The whole garden, apart from gated-off areas, with private access to terrace overlooking the valley.

Other things to note
The spa (hot tub/sauna/treatment room) is available solely for farmhouse guests.
