Galford springs is a detached, self contained, converted barn, with an indoor heated swimming pool and lots more indoor entertainment. It is situated on our working rural farm, in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside.
Nestled in Lew valley, it is a short drive from Dartmoor national park and within an hours drive from some stunning north Devon and Cornwall beaches.
Come rain or shine, there is plenty to do, to keep all ages entertained.
The space
You will have exclusive use of the entire holiday barn with all its facilities including the indoor heated swimming pool. It is a huge, unique social space which is great for catching up with family and friends.
For those days that you want to stay at base and relax, you can enjoy the 10 metre heated indoor swimming pool, have a game of skittles, play table tennis, table football or pool, or indulge yourself in the pay as you go infra-red sauna.
There is a 62 inch smart TV in the main room with freesat and a HIFI with an aux cable, there is another smart TV with freesat and a bluetooth radio in the skittle alley.
The kitchen and bar areas allow you to cater for large groups with 2 ovens/hobs, 3 under counter fridges, another large fridge and freezer in the laundry room, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large dining area in the main room, another undercover table in the veranda and an outside built in BBQ and outdoor seating with outstanding scenic countryside views.
The sleeping arrangements include;
Main open plan living room- 5x bunk beds
Bedroom 1- 1x bunk bed, 1x double bed
Bedroom 2- 1x double bed, 1x single bed
Bedroom 3- 1x double bed
Each bedroom has an ensuite toilet and sink.
There are 2 large bathrooms (double sinks, showers and toilets for the main room), showers in both the changing rooms and a disabled bathroom next to the swimming pool (shower, toilet and sink). We can provide a baby bath.

Guest access
Galford springs holiday barn is situated on our working farm in rural Devon.
You will have exclusive use of the accommodation and all the facilities. We occasionally need to check the chlorine levels of the swimming pool during your stay (usually on longer stays in peak season and we will let you know on arrival if this is the case)
We recommend you travel here by car and bring some outdoor shoes/walking boots if you wish to explore the local area.
There is ample free parking on site.
We will greet you on arrival, show you around and provide keys.
We are usually around on the farm, if you need us, but the space in the holiday barn and walled BBQ area is for your private use. There is an unfenced grass area with a badminton net and chairs, which you are welcome to use, on the lane as you drive in (the lane is also used for access to the farm)
Other things to note
We provide bedding (including 2 pillows, a duvet and blanket) for all beds.
We do NOT provide bathing towels. We do provide hand towels.
Use of the sauna is an additional cost and is operated by a coin machine which takes 20p and £1 coins.
Due to our rural location, mobile phone signal is very limited.
The free WIFI is usually at least 35mbps but can be affected by extreme weather.
Please put in the correct number of guests into your booking request on airbnb to obtain an accurate price. We will ask which beds you would like made up for your stay approximately 2 weeks before your arrival.
We have a minimum price per night which is for up to 10 guests.
Additional guests are charged for the duration of the booking, at £25/per person/ per night (Airbnb service fees are not included in this).
