When you first walk into our cabin, you will take in the bright and expansive knotty pine “great room” with a vaulted ceiling and a gas-burning fireplace. You’ll see two overstuffed leather couches and a plush recliner where you can nap, read, catch up on emails, watch TV, or just listen to your favorite music. You can enjoy books, games and puzzles on the large coffee table in front of the fireplace. The DVD library includes a selection of videos for adults and children.
On the kitchen peninsula you will find your Welcome Book and Welcome Basket. Next to them will be your cabin keys, the garage remote, and two access passes to all the private facilities of Lake Arrowhead.
You’ll see that the cabin’s prow front has floor-to-ceiling windows and a large wraparound redwood deck that give you views into your own personal forest. As you sit in a deck chair, you’ll be able to sip your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon snack--and surrender to the tranquility of the peaceful quiet, the warm sun, and a gentle breeze blowing through the trees.
You have access to a fully stocked, gourmet kitchen that will make you feel right at home. It's complete with a double oven, gas stove, a full set of cookware, a large spice rack, and serving platters for entertaining. If you’d rather, you can BBQ outside on the deck. Whether you cook or bring in food for your family and guests, you can sit at the rustic pine table that comfortably seats 10. You can enjoy breakfast for two or a quick snack at the granite peninsula.
In the loft kids and adults can play foosball and air hockey. You’ll also be able to use the office desk to print information about nearby attractions or sit on the love seat/sofa bed and watch the kids play.
The upstairs master suite has a king-size sleigh bed, full-sized pine dresser and portable air conditioner. Did you bring your dog? You will find a large dog bed in the closet or corner. The large bedroom window looks out towards the hillside trees. Your master bathroom has been upgraded with a granite vanity top and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures.
On the first floor you have two bedrooms that have twin beds and full-sized closets. Warm blankets for winter and light cotton blankets for summer. In the linen closet you have beach towels available when you go to nearby Lake Arrowhead or Lake Gregory.

Wendy and I have lived in Los Angeles for 30 years. Our daughter has graduated from college so we have an empty nest! Except that we have four hilarious cats and two dogs at home. We have traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, and the Far East. We enjoy meeting new people and experiencing their history, culture, and cuisine. As well we love to entertain friends at our home in the US.
I am a business management consultant and Wendy is a psychologist. I love photography and digging into the rich history of places we are visiting. Wendy likes the adventure of discovering things that are new and different.
