Interaction with guests
I am a freelance designer who works in fashion and branding- I have a pretty full schedule with work and other activities so I am often out and about, but if you want to chat or get some tips about the area, I will be happy to interact with you. If you are more on the private side, that is totally fine too - I want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay either way!
I have one roommate who works in the UN- she is out at work all day and is a really nice laid-back person when home.
I have two, super cute, short haired cats that live in the apartment. They are very calm and easy going, most of the time they are sleeping or hanging out in my room. They are super friendly, but if you are allergic to cats or just don't like them, then this is not the place for you!
Also, because we already have the cats, we cannot accept pet house guests (even though we love them!)
Other things to note
In an effort to show respect for the building, its tenants and owners, please keep noise down and be mindful in the hallways, elevator and shared spaces.
You are welcome to use the roof and enjoy the AMAZING views of Brooklyn and Manhattan, but please respect that space also- please put trash in trash cans, and if you wanna smoke, please put cigarettes out in the sand buckets provided.
Needless to say, once inside the apartment, you have much more free range to be yourself & relax at your own leisure :)
Make yourself comfortable but please respect the space and things in it- this home has been lovingly put together over the years so please be mindful! :)
If you are cooking, please make sure to wash up dishes after you use them.
Please turn lights/ the TV etc… off when you leave. You know, all the basic/ good stuff that you do at home…
Please don't bring other guests here or have anyone else stay over other than approved, and pre-paid guests.
Other than that, have fun, relax and enjoy! :)
