A country setting for a relaxing retreat or resting while being close to golfing, hiking or visiting one or more of our local waterfalls, state parks and the famous Cumberland County Playhouse. Cabin is cozy and comfortable with a wood burning stove for those chilly nights. Enjoy the birds and wildlife while relaxing on the front porch rocking chairs or chairs on the back deck.

The space
Set on 21 secluded acres. A wooded 1/4 mile drive from gate to cabin could get you a glimpse of deer, wild turkeys and many species of Tennessee birds. Plenty of squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks too!
Cabin has a full kitchen, one bedroom with King bed, a loft with two twin beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Accommodation for up to six people, with no extra charge for each guest. Cabin has a washer and dryer too.

Our property is located in a rural area with farms all around. We are on the side of a wooded mountain. Look out the large windows of the cabin after a rain and you may see our waterfall from the creek that runs through the property. There is also a couple of trails to walk on or just make your own way and enjoy our woods.

Diane & Sam are retired Aerospace workers. They have worked in Florida, California and spent the last 15 years in Interior Alaska. They moved to Tennessee in 2018 to be closer to family. They enjoy the outdoors riding dirt bikes, ATVs and motorcycles. They also love to hike the local parks and waterfalls as well as attending local festvals and events. They have 21 acres with lots of lovely flowers, trees and wildlife. There are many species of birds, squirrels and chipmunks plus the occasional deer or two. Many bunnies also call Mountain Top Retreat home. Don't be surprised to see Diane & Sam sitting on their porch listening to the birds with their morning coffee. Sam is also an artist working in various mediums. Some of his art is seen around the property. Diane likes to make quilts or can be found playing MaJongg with a local Ladies group. Enjoy your stay and feel free to come by and talk. They love meeting new people!
