The space
A tranquil location teeming with birdlife and the occasional red deer passing by. It is a traditional croft house recently renovated which transformed the interior into a bright open plan living area with two distinct kitchen dining and seating areas.
It has a well eqipped kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso machine and everything you might need to rustle up delicious meals.
A freezer, washing machine and dryer are available in a bothy to the rear of the house, which can also provide secure storage for bicycles etc.
Superfast broadband is suppled to keep you in touch. There is a TV with freeview and a Chromecast.
Outside the front door is a lovely patio with seating so you can enjoy the spectacular views whilst enjoying a drink or meal.

Where you’ll be

Isleornsay, Scotland, United Kingdom

Duisdale Beag is located in Sleat, Skye's southerly peninsula known romantically as the 'Garden of Skye' for its abundance of trees, the area is easily reached by sea on two ferry routes or over the Skye Bridge. Duisdale is a quiet crofting township but with a host of amenities. It's a short walk down to the pretty harbour of Isleornsay and the Eilean Iarman hotel with its vibrant Am Praban bar where there is great food. The village's stunning new community enterprise is within easy reach with a Post Office & shop stocks everything from newspapers, local food, wine and many other essentials, and the cafe, open daily in summer, reduced hours in winter, offers great coffee, cake and lunches. You can also withdraw and exchange money at the PO counter. There are several other great places to eat from the famous Kinloch Lodge Hotel to the tiny but perfect Cafe 1925 in Ardvasar. The village of Broadford is 8 miles away here you will find a variety of shops including the Coop supermarket, fuel station, ATMs, pharmacy, doctor's surgery and hospital. Back towards the Skye Bridge is Kyle home to Buth Beag a great wee seafood bar & shop, a further Coop, Bank of Scotland and local swimming pool.
