Casa Coyoacan is our beloved small house that has stunning views of the lovely little coastal village and beach San Agustinillo. We've built and decorated it with details of nature's beauty. Our garden is unique and tranquil. You may not want to leave it, but if you do, we're a five-minute walk to the beach. We especially invite you to enjoy the fully-stocked kitchen, the tree-house-with-a-sea view bedroom + en suite, and our outdoor shower under the stars.

We require a one-week minimum stay.

The space
The other things we love about our house: 1) We work while we live here, and there's no better office view. Really. 2) The mornings are extraordinary with a view of sunrise and the sounds of all kinds of birds. 3) Our garden was grown to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, and to provide shade. We have a huge LOVELY pistachio tree that provides us with shade almost all day long.
4) Our cabinetry was custom built. 5) Our washing machine. 6) And, to top it off, we have kind and quiet neighbours.

What we want you to know before you book:
1) A two-minute walk downhill to the beach means a 5-minute walk uphill to return. 2) We do not have hot water, but water can be heated on the stove for washing dishes. 3) The shower is outside, but is tucked in a corner for privacy and there is a screen. 4) The house is not suitable for more than 2 people and is not suitable for children under 12. 5) Our lot is a work in progress. One half of it is underdeveloped. You will not notice this when sitting on our natural patio. 6) A cat named Pestana lives on the property. She spends most of her time sleeping but is good for keeping other critters away. We provide food for her and ask that you feed her and give her water. She is not allowed upstairs in the bedroom.

We love this place and named it after our dog, Coyoacan, which in the Nahuatl language means 'place where they have coyotes'. We welcome you to experience the joy it brings to us.

Our house is located across the street from a yoga studio, and a five-minute walk to the delightful main street and beach, where you will find coffee shops, a specialty wine shop, several restaurants and family-owned stores, including a fruits and vegetable store. There's also an awesome little library with plenty of books in English, French, Italian and Spanish. The streets are lit at night.
