Unfortunately, there were some communication difficulties. The listing clearly states that cell service is spotty and uneven. The roofing contractor locked the deadbolt after assessing the roof leak prior to Kathy's arrive. I was totally unaware of this issue until Kathy's group arrived. After Kathy contacted me, we had someone there to unlock it within an hour. The roof leak was assessed and repaired. To resolve the issue with the keypad, I drove 5 hours (round trip) to the condo. I discovered the keypad had a button that was stuck down, which prevented the other numbers from registering. I literally touched the stuck key, it popped up, and the keypad worked fine afterwards. Regarding the state of the condo, I was not informed of any cleanliness issues when the group arrived. These issues were only reported to me after the group left and the cleaning crew documented with photos the huge mess they left behind, including discarded food wrapped in sheets. For the first time ever (4+ years), I petitioned AirBNB for additional funds for the extra cleaning that was required. Based the the photos I provided, these funds were awarded to cover those extra costs.
