Our beautiful 3rd floor apartment is located in the Schillerkiez, blocks away from the massive park that was previously an airport, the Templehofer Feld. The flat is very comfortable with French windows in the living room, giving it an open feeling.
Our large apartment is on the third floor and has south-facing windows, so it's always nice and sunny. Both rooms have beautiful hardwood floors. We use one room as a living room, but the couch easily folds out into a massive bed, so there is plenty of room for a few people if necessary.
The guests will have access to a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities, a bathtub/shower, a washing machine, and wireless internet.
Interaction with guests
We are leaving on Wednesday June 8th and return on Monday June 27th, so hopefully we will be back to meet you on the last day! But we have someone here you can contact about any concerns. We would definitely prefer to have guests staying for longer periods, but any stay 4 nights or longer is fine!
Other things to note
One of the beds listed is actually a couch, but when it folds out, it is really like a bed, not a couch-bed. The place is definitely great for two couples, a small family or a small traveling group of 3-4 people.
Many of our neighbors have families, so we expect that our guests are quiet after 11:00 pm. Smoking is OK in the kitchen. No pets please. The only other request we have, beyond basic cleanliness, is that our guests water our plants on a few occasions (nothing too complicated though, so don't worry!)

I am a recent PhD in Comparative Literature and a musician, which means that I spend a lot of time getting absorbed in books, film and music. I am also fluent in German and English. I enjoy traveling as much as I can, and therefore can also appreciate people that are interested in exploring the city I live in, for all its mysteries.
