It's been our summer getaway for 30+ years; we have converted the villa into a beautiful living space, a home away from home, for you. A perfect getaway for you to sit back and relax in the midst of nature.

“The Deodars” spread over 2 acres of land houses four double bedrooms, four private bathrooms, a study, a living, a dining room, and four fireplaces, an attached kitchen along with an outdoor patio/verandah to savor the panoramic view of the gardens and the Himalayan Range.

The villa is located in the heritage cantonment of Ranikhet "The Queens Land,” which falls in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India. Near the Mall road, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city – “The Deodars” is on the west valley of Ranikhet - surrounded by pine and fir forests, apt for spending quality time in natures lap.

Ranikhet is a picturesque and relatively unexplored hill station, approximately 6000ft above sea level and about 59km away from Nainital. The weather here is Alpine – the summers are mild, and the winters are cold.

Relax, Read, Write, and enjoy Nature while going on long walks across the many walking trails in and around the villa. Pretty views, good coffee, and home-cooked meals - "The Deodars" will inspire you to appreciate the smaller things in life and the beauty of embracing nature in all its glory.

Ranikhet has many ancient temples (Jhula Devi Temple is a 10-minute walk from the house), apple orchards, and a nine-hole Golf Course (which is open to the public), all of which are close to the villa.

The West View Hotel which is about a 5-minute walk from the villa also has some of the best eat-out places in Ranikhet - The outdoor Oak Garden Cafe, The Coffee Shop and the Dining Room
