There are many things to do and see in the area. There is the Kanangra Boyd National Park with wonderful walking tracks,
Mayfield Gardens, with their restaurant and Water Gardens all year round, and the entire garden open to the public in Spring and Autumn (see their website for dates.
There is mushrooming and fossicking, an excellent golf course, a beautiful lake with surrounding walks, cycling tracks, a heritage railway, to name just a few places to explore and activities.

My work: I have been self employed most of my working life.
I'm a widow, 71 years of age, mother of two sons, and grandmother. I am a teacher, counsellor, workshop presenter and writer. For many years I ran a stud farm and horse-riding school in the Kanimbla Valley, NSW, where I bred and trained Arabian and Warmblood horses. I've taught equestrian skills to Australian and overseas students. I've given workshops and lectures in places as diverse as the Mt Druitt Community centre in Sydney, Spiritual Churches and the Theosophical Society in Scotland. I'm a qualified Melody crystal healer and instructor, and an accredited counsellor and hypnotherapist. I also uses Astrology in my practice. I am a registered member of the Counsellor and Psychotherapists Association of Australia. My current passion is my projected three-volume non-fiction series DOWNLOADING SPIRIT. The first book has been published.
