Australian by birth, I've lived all over the world and in 2004 arrived on the Big Island of Hawaii (with hubby) to open the doors to our gorgeous, tropical Bed and Breakfast in Kailua-Kona. Building upon years of experience in executive hospitality and travel services, we provide our guests with true concierge class service. It's the little things that can make a vacation extra special and we enjoy sharing our "Aloha" and knowledge of the island, tours, restaurants and the many unique "little things" that make the Big Island amazing. Hawaii Island, also called Big Island, is the youngest of the Hawaiian Islands and also the largest. Strong and majestic, it offers an equally bold driving experience, from roadside stories that speak of a remarkable native culture to the infinite colors of nature’s paintbrush. Home to Paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys) and Pele (goddess of fire and volcanoes) Big Island offers experiences found no other place on earth. A variety of climatic zones, from seasonal snowcapped mountains to black sand beaches, stretch across its vast topography creating rich pockets of adventure for visitors to explore. We invite you to experience "Aloha" at Honu Kai and feel like you are part of our 'ohana (family).
