The space

Big family house, 20 minutes away from the heart of Stockholm, Gamla Stan. Close to the water and the forest. Great to visit the city and at the same time go for nice walks into the wild.

There are three rooms in the house with a double bed each.

There is a stable for horses close by, a pier for boats and a beach within walking distance. The garden is open but very secluded, south facing, with roses and a beautiful cherry tree, gooseberry and strawberry plants. If you come during the right season you can enjoy the fresh fruits.

In the house you will find a Guide to visit all the places from Stieg Larsson books as seen in the movies.

Towels and bed linen are provided and the kitchen if fully functional if you want to prepare something to eat in the evening.

There is a parking space outside the house plus additional extra parking close by.
The house is extremely silent and the best place to relax and rest.

Really nice and friendly neighbours.

The closest tube station is Sätra, at about 10 minutes walk from the house.

Maria Rita's house is wonderful to stay in! It's a quiet place a little outside of Stockholm. Nearby you'll find two nice beaches, a nature reserve with many paths to walk or run, an outdoor gym, a famous coffee house... you'll never get bored. Maria Rita herself is a very open, helpful person with a great sense of humour. Already the first day, she made time for showing me the surroundings, doing some sightseeing with me and introducing me to the very kind neighborhood. She's very generous for I could use all the things in the kitchen and read books from her huge bookshelf. In the evenings we often drank tea, talked and laughed together until midnight. It's a pleasure to get to know her! I just can recommend a visit at this place! It's perfect to relax and still you are downtown quickly by taking the tube if you feel like going out. So don't hesitate, go for it!!!
