Excellent location, quaint and perfect for a quick visit in this amazing city. The apartment is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. The apartment is great for up to 2 people. The bed was comfortable and although ther furnishings are dated, they add character to the unit.

Staying in Carla's apartment was a great experience, it was very clean and tidy, the air is super potent and it's very silence, so you can enjoy a few more hours of sleep. Although the kitchen is small, it suits one or two people very well. It is located in one of the best and safest areas in the city and it gives acess to the most important bus lanes and subway.

Carla is a great host always willing to help. The location of the apartment is very good, close to several tourist attractions that are walking distance. I really liked the apartment. I just thought it was a bit dark because the windows don't light up very well and the fridge was not cooling. Other than that the place is very good.

This is a simple, small studio in a central location. It's really nothing fancy but it wasn't misrepresented. The host was communicative at first, but we had a few problems. Ultimately the experience was fine. Things to know: - The building is pretty dingy and very loud, and people seemed unfriendly. There is a baby and a very loud family who live on the same floor, and there's pretty much a constant cacophony of noise at all times. - The location isn't great - it's very central and close to the subway system and busses, but if you want to go out you're not going to find anything great nearby. Again, it's fine - you can take the subway to Palermo pretty easily - but you are not in the middle of it. - The keys are really tough. Apparently there's only one set of keys and you also need a key to *exit* the building, so you can't leave the keys inside when you go. I also found them very difficult to use at first, so make sure you know how to use them before the host leaves. - You will not want to use the kitchen. It's a mini kitchen and not very nice. Don't rent this place if you need to cook, but it's totally fine if you don't plan on it. - The A/C is really good, and if you visit in the summer, you'll need it. Felt good to come back inside and get out of the heat and humidity. Again - this is a perfectly serviceable, basic apartment, but it's not a particularly enjoyable experience.
