Interaction with guests

We are not home for most of the rental periods, but occasionally we are there. I have had a guest in the past believe that they would have the home to themselves without us around and were surprised with our presence. I cannot guarantee you will have the home to yourselves. We have lawns and fields to maintain as well as our honey bees.

David And Kathleen were very hesitant to let my mid-twenty year old friends and I stay at their home. After a lengthy back and forth we worked things out and they let us stay but they seemed very uneasy. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a very beautiful property and the house has a very nice kitchen. It is about an hour away from Stratton Mountain, which was a manageable distance for us.

We rented David and Kathleen's beautiful country home for New Year's Eve weekend. The place was very clean and close to great hiking trails and ski mountains. There's a large kitchen and plenty of bedroom space available. Couldn't have asked for a better way to bring in the new year!

Beautiful place, easy to find and lovely to spend time in. David and Kathleen are easy to reach via messaging any time throughout your stay if you have any questions, but everything was very straightforward. My friends and I had a lovely weekend.

David and Kathleen's home is very spacious, clean, and beautiful. It accommodates a large family, and allows for privacy as well as group gatherings. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped to help make this space feel more like home. Downtown Brattleboro is about 20 minutes away, but is doesn't seem too far considering the views and privacy this home has to offer.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at David & Kathy's home. The property is beautiful with rolling hills and scenic views, and the house was lovely, proving great for a group. The large, open kitchen was ideal for preparing meals and the living/dining area and deck were spacious for entertaining. The bedrooms were comfortable and 2.5 baths kept bathroom waits to a minimum. We capped off our stay with a wonderful breakfast of blueberry pancakes (picked at a local farm), prepared with mix and syrup David and Kathy graciously left. Should also mention they were extremely responsive hosts and quickly answers any questions our group had related to the house/accommodations.

Response from David And Kathleen:
I wish you had told me you had no hot water. I discovered that the boiler was off line when I arrived to do laundry. I had our plumber there and the repair was made quickly.

This was the perfect space to stay with several other friends for a wedding. The house is large, clean, and comfortable. The outside patio/deck was a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had any questions. Overall, a great experience!
