Other things to note
I have a lodger called Glen, he has a room on the top floor and is a classical guitarist. He is very pleasant and you may sometimes see him busking in town.

Location

Worthing, West Sussex, United Kingdom

Worthing is mostly Victorian and is also developing and growing town. The observation big wheel is arriving this summer.
Some scenes from the Laurel and Hardy film were shot at The Lido a short walk away, and some scenes from the recent TV drama 'Cheat' were filmed on Worthing Pier.
For those into the arts, Elizabeth Frink's sculpted heads are located near Montague Square, and there is a yearly Artisit's Open Houses in June.
There are numerous lovely restaurants in the area including Kenny Tutt's ( winner of Master Chef) restaurant 'Pitch'.
Other places to eat are...The Brunswick and Thorn opposite the house where you can get 10% off all food, this does a lovely bistro style breakfast and food.
The 'Black Cat Cafe' offer very reasonably priced cafe style food and is just around the corner. The Crab Shack was listed in the Guardian as one of the best beach side restaurants in Europe!
There are other places such as 'Malt' Tito's' 'Food' 'Manuka' 'Liming' plus many more, all are great for breakfast, lunch and evening meals.
There is a market in the town centre on Wednesdays selling fresh produce, pastries, clothes, takeaway food, flowers, fabrics etc etc.
The beach is around 30 seconds walk away. It is a mixture of stone and sand, there being a lot more sand as the tide goes out, with rock pool style areas. Great for taking long walks, with the South Downs being within an easy drive.

Hi everyone, I am a friendly person with lots of hosting experience from hosting in Hove. I moved to Worthing last year and I totally love it. I live in my Victorian house with my cat Dixie and my friend Louise. I am a photographer, artist and nurse, though I have taken some time out to work on my house. I love reading and have books available for guests to read. I am also available for tips and advice about the local area, cafes, restaurants, Wednesday market and film locations like the Lido where the Laurel and Hardy film was shot.
