The Bird's Nest is just paces from the beach at Carrick. An open-plan space complete with Wifi, super king bed & en-suite bathroom, 2 TV's and a log fire for cozy nights in. A raised private deck area is the perfect spot to enjoy the views and a sun-downer! We also welcome your dog. Superb walking, cycling, swimming , stargazing (from your bed) and an abundance of wildlife , surrounded by unspoiled coast & countryside make this a truly memorable place to visit.

The space
The Birds Nest is set away from the main house, Owl Cote which sleeps 5 and both properties can be booked together or separately. The properties sit within 3/4 acres of coastal garden. The Birds Nest is only 100 paces onto the Beach at Carrick, where you can enjoy swimming, sailing and breathtaking sunsets. Check out website for more information. The house is in a rural position, yet only 5 miles to the nearest town of Gatehouse of Fleet and the Artist's town of Kirkcudbright, and the Food town of Castle Douglas both nearby. The area is surrounded by protected coastline and has fabulous wildlife with almost no light or noise pollution. There is so much to do on the doorstep, with an icecream factory, chocolate factory and a large Outdoor Adventure Park, and an abundance of local artists displaying their amazing talent. You wont be bored!
