A bright and spacious home with character and class situated 15 minutes walk outside the bustling town of Totnes. This house offers a uniquely styled open plan kitchen living space lending well to opening bi-fold doors and eating or sunbathing on the deck listening to the birds in the sun trap. Evenings offer cosy relaxing evenings by the fire with games. Ideally situated 5/10 minutes from Dartington, 35 minutes to some of the most beautiful beaches in the the UK & 30 minutes from Dartmoor.

The space
The living space is playful yet cosy and invites you to relax and unwind. The lounge looks out into the south facing garden which laps up the light and offers a wonderful extension to the house.

There is one very comfy (Simba) king bed in the lovely light front bedroom and a double bed in the back bedroom overlooking the garden. Downstairs there is a comfy double sofa bed in the main sofa.

It's a quiet, spacious sanctuary for anyone looking for a safe haven, a home away from home with the extra delights of colours, plants and cosy interior. There is 1 main bathroom upstairs with shower/bath/toilet and a second toilet downstairs. The house is spacious & offers comfort when away from your own home so please do remember that its not a hotel, there are of course come quirks. Like the garden for example where we are exploring rewilding it, & the woodburner for heating instead of electricity.

We lock our working space for ease and privacy.

Parking – there is free parking for one car directly in front of the house. It is the middle spot directly in front of the house, between two other spaces which are for the neighbours cars. Please aim for the space in the middle leaving room either side for other cars. If you are coming with more than one car then please use the road opposite the house, just try tucking in on the bend.

Other things to note
We will leave the keys somewhere accessible for you so you can check in any time after 4pm.

Hair dryer is in the cupboard in the main bedroom :)

15 mins walk into Totnes town centre and 5 minutes from a short dog walking spot at the Follaton Arboretum.

The area is very quiet and has a lovely communal feel to it. The local shop 'Londis' is 1 minute walk away and has most of what you might need including Gluten free, vegan and organic options. The shop is open at 7am and closed at 8pm so is handy for early morning supplies or the need for late night snacks.

Totnes is famous for its outdoor market, ambiance and charm. Its an old town with lots going on, lots to see and explore from food, music and art. If you are interested in locally sourced foods, nice wines, lovely shops, yoga and art then this town is worth checking out.

River swimming down by the weir or after a long Dartington walk there is a lot of beauty in the immediate and surrounding areas. There are plenty of beautiful sights and places to visit in Devon, please ask if you'd like some guidance on what to do or where to go when visiting.
