40-min drive to New Forest National Park

This home is near the national park.
Inspired by Soho Farmhouse. A stylish converted barn set in the grounds of a Georgian Lodge within the South Downs National Park. Conveniently located close to the picturesque market towns of Alresford, Petersfield, Alton and historic Winchester, it is an ideal base to both explore Hampshire and kick back and relax in luxury. Take a look at the Barn on ‘Escape to the Country’ series 25, Episode 10 on iPlayer!

The space
Rustic luxury is the barn’s style; whitewashed timber walls, heated oak floors, industrial iron Nkuku lighting and furniture sit comfortably alongside crisp White Company linen, feather duvets and generous sized pillows. Relax and restore after an action packed day with luxury toiletries and fluffy towels. Comfort is key. Ideal for couples, friends and solo travellers alike.
A compact kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, oven, hob microwave and are all on hand, plus a gas BBQ & Chiminea log burner on the private Terrace. Breakfast provisions of granola, sourdough bread, butter and jam are provided along with eggs from our own hens for delicious boiled eggs, coffee capsules & assorted teas.
The Barn is equipped with the usual mod cons with TV, Chrome Cast, WIFI and Sonos Music System.
There are Sweeping views from the bedroom french doors up the field where the majestic Redwood Tree and often Pheasants, Hare and Roe deer can be seen. You are free to explore North Lodge’s paddock to visit North Lodge’s Pygmy Goats, Kune Kune pigs, Chickens & Guinea Pigs and there are several footpaths off the property, one which leads to the famous “Pub with no Name” in just under an hour.

Guest access
Private terrace with seating & coffee table, bbq and wood fired Chiminea, additional larger table with parasol to the side of the Barn. Guests are welcome to wander around the paddock to see the Chickens, Runner Ducks, Kune Kune Pigs, Pygmy Goats & meet the owner's friendly Border Terriers. Please keep dogs on a lead around our animals as we love them dearly and would rather they weren't munched!

Other things to note
Breakfast & Dogs!

Please note: We provide a complimentary breakfast of granola, fresh sourdough, bread, butter, fresh eggs and jam.

Dogs: We love dogs, we have two! we accept up to 2 well behaved ones. We ask that they please keep their paws on the floors, not the bed! We have metal sheep fencing which you can put around the Barn terrace, so you can fling open the French doors & create an enclosed space to keep your dogs secure. Please keep dogs on leads when wandering around the paddock to visit our animals.
