We had a fabulous trip to Paris, enhanced ten fold by our stay in this gorgeous apartment. Beautifully curated with the most wonderful book collection, it was so welcoming. A great location to explore from, yet tucked away in a private courtyard. Highly recommended.

A gorgeous, beautifully-designed little apartment, equipped with all the amenities one could require, lovely furniture, and stuffed full with wonderful books as well. Excellent situation with shops and restaurants right on your doorstep, but at the same time, set within a peaceful courtyard. Easy access to public transport.

James was extremely clear in all his explanations of the flat. It is well equipped for the most relaxing Paris trip. It was great to be able to listen to music in flat and the space was very calm and quiet. This flat is in the best location you could hope for. I have stayed in Paris many times but never felt so connected to the city through the many metro stations very near by and also because the flat is walking distance from many of Paris' top attractions. The Rue Cler was a great find for dinner and lunch as well and many pretty flower shops and specialist food stores. Overall I would say this is the perfect place for a couple to stay. 10/10

What a great place. And a great host too. The apartment is excellently well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The use of space is really smart and makes a compact apartment as Parisian apartments are feel much more spacious. The neighbourhood is typical paris with great restaurants and shops nearby, and is very centrally located for all paris has to offer. James pulled all sorts of strings to make the place ready for my last minute arrival - and I hope to stay again soon, and for longer!

The apartment is delightful -- a wonderful introduction to life in Paris. We arrived at the front door, and there was the Eiffel Tower, standing splendid at the end of the street. The courtyard was beautiful, the apartment comfortable and cozy, and the location excellent. We walked to most of our destinations -- Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter, to name a few -- and the metro was nearby to reach others. We were delighted, too, to discover some unique features of the apartment, and other guests will no doubt do the same. All in all, a lovely place to call home for nine unforgettable days. Thank you, James!
