Interaction with guests
As much or as little interaction as you want. We know the island and can give recommendations for restaurants, beaches and things to do.
Other things to note
Easy jumping off the dock for a swim. There's always something happening on the harbor to watch from the porch. No children under 7 due to the proximity to the water and the rocky shore. The cottage is over 100 yrs old and has been renovation with all the modern conveniences while keeping the charm of the original way station. It was one of the original 11 stations that the New York Yacht Club had on the East Coast.
No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. No kitchen privileges. Light drinking only. We love having children 7 and older but cannot accommodate those under 7 due to the proximity to the water. Quite time after 10 PM. No overnight sleeping on the porch.
