The Woody Creek Cabin is a backcountry cabin that is a 2.5 mile moderately strenuous hike through the woods from downtown Cooke City. The hike includes 1,000 ft of elevation gain. It is only accessible by foot or horses. The cabin is 20x24 with a sleeping loft and was built in 2012 from the standing dead trees on the property. There is a full kitchen but no running water at the cabin, however, a spring is 100 yards away for drinking and cooking. There is also an outhouse.

Well, I don't want to repeat how great Ben's cabin is, everything is writen in other reviews. We enjoyed our stay very much and everything worked perfectly. If you want a cabin in seclusion in the middle of nature which is in walkable distance, this is the place.
