[Update: please note WiFi is working perfectly again!] Lochside House is in a stunning, tranquil setting beside Loch Katrine in the Trossachs. Lochside House is the right-hand quarter of the building in the pictures; lawn/garden is not included. Just refurbished with new kitchen and main bathroom. Perfect for larger family gatherings and quiet, outdoorsy holidays. No parties, or hen or stag weekends, please! Bookable together with Lochside Apartment or on its own.

The space
Magnificent views from the grand, spacious living room. All bedrooms apart from one have a view over the loch. Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and there is one general bathroom with WC, washbasin, and walk-in shower, recently refurbished. We regret that we no longer take dogs as we have had a few instances of damage.

The house is located just near to the pier on Loch Katrine where the Sir Walter Scott paddle steamer calls in every day during the summer. The cafe on the pier does wonderful light food and refreshments, and there are other good eateries a little drive away. It's only about 4 miles to the east side of Loch Lomond, where you can catch a ferry to the other side and explore further afield.
