Rianne was very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. The communication with her before we came was good and she responded to my emails from booking through to arrival, very quickly. She very kindly collected us from the railway station which was very helpful. We absolutely loved this chalet - the view from the guest balcony is stunning. The local area is great for walking and the buses and trains are very convenient (though expensive!). It is nicely presented with a great shower and very comfortable beds. The chalet is up a very steep hill and is a challenging 15 minute walk from the town. We did not mind it, but it would not be suitable for anyone who has any problems walking - you do need to be reasonably fit to enjoy it. Frutigen is a proper Swiss town - not a tourist resort which we liked. However, the shops do shut early on Saturday and do not open until Monday so be careful if you need supplies. Overall we had a lovely time and would be happy to return.

What an amazing and terrific place! Our hosts were so kind and really went out of their way to help us. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with a great kitchen and wonderful shower. The view from our balcony was truly amazing and we enjoyed our morning tea taking it all in. While it's a bit of a hike up to the Chalet it is worth it! Frutigen is a great location for a base to visit many of the area's sights. We would definitely recommend and hope to return one day!

Our hosts were wonderful! Rianne was very patient and communicative when we missed our bus stop getting there. The place is very cozy and welcoming, and our hosts excelled in all the extra little touches that make a place so inviting. We loved the area. The views are fantastic, and it's easy to grab the bus and go exploring. The hiking in the Jungfrau region is beyond words wonderful! I believe the washing machine is shared, but honestly we were so busy exploring we didn't really have time to find out! Our hosts were pleasant, kind and considerate. I would definitely recommend staying with them.

Rianne and Frans were the perfect hosts - very welcoming and gracious. The place had tremendous views - after a week of being there, it still took our breath away to look out the window every morning. The amenities that many AirBnB's skimp on were top notch here - e.g., wonderful shower, modern dishwasher, great beds. And the things that would be downsides at other places, were part of the charm of staying here - the short walk to the car and having your hosts live below you. So, yes - wonderful and highly recommended!

We love this place so much!!! Riane gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The view was STUNNING! Two beautiful main bedrooms share balcony with a stunning view of the mountains. She provide us all the necessary amenities, folded towel with little chocolate. She got everything in the kitchen for us to cook. We could buy a fresh milk from the neighbor. You should try!! The best milk ever! Thank you so much Riane for your patience with all the request and all questions. My family was just too excited and some of them are first time traveling outside our country. What an experience. Thank you again. We'll come back

Rianne was an absolutely amazing host. The home and surrounding area are beautiful. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the Alps without the tourist vibe and this was spot on perfect. Getting there was not difficult from the train station. Rianne was even nice enough to offer us a ride! The space itself is fantastic. We had the whole second floor to ourself. The kitchen and bathroom were recently remodeled while still maintaining the charm of a Swiss chalet. You really cannot beat the view out of the bedroom windows. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony drinking coffee and just taking it in. Rianne was super helpful throughout our stay. She even drove us in to town to help get us groceries! There are plenty of outdoor activities around the area and Rianne and Fran's were happy to give us some advice. I highly recommend staying with them if you are looking for a relaxing place to say in the beautiful Swiss country side!
