My wife and I greatly appreciated Louis hospitality and desire to make our stay comfortable. He did the best he could, even checking in the day we checked in to make sure we were doing well. He is very nice and takes pride in his Airbnb and does all he can go make your stay successful.

We booked this airbnb very last minute but the reviews all had nice things to say. Unfortunately, I found that I did not have the same experience as previous guests. Let's start with the positives. The studio is in a great location. It's a two minute walk to the metro and there are a ton of great restaurants and shops. It's tucked away on a little side street across from a kebab place. It's definitely small but this was no surprise because the other reviews all mentioned this as did the description. We were only really there to sleep so the size didn't really bother me and the loft is very comfortable (aside from it being a little warm so you have to keep the window open). My main issue was with the communication with our host (or rather lack there of). I was unable to get a hold of Louis after our initial contact. We tried all forms of communication including calling, texting, airbnb messenger and even email but he wouldn't respond. When we arrived we found that there were no towels in the studio despite one of the reviews saying that it came stocked with them. We also couldn't get the hot water in the shower to work. Louis left a guide explaining how to get the hot water to work; he even left a small note that said "don't hesitate to call me" if you need help getting it to work. Since he was completely unresponsive we were left with cold showers and we had to use our clean t-shirts as towels. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I also wouldn't call this place quiet. It was very noisy at night and in the morning and since it was rather hot in the loft, we had to leave the window open in order to cool it down. Other than that, the studio was fine, I just wish our host had been a little more responsive and better prepared.

The studio was in a great location with easy access to the metro, but was uninhabitable. Two of the main issues which led us to check out early included broken plumbing that leaked the flushed waste from the toilet onto the bathroom floor and the number of scattering insects visible when the lights were turned on or the studio was entered.

We were EXTREMELY unhappy with Louis and his flat. It was infested with bugs and smelled of mildew and mold. On top of that the shower did not have hot water and would not respond to us. The only time he responded was when we had left and told him we expected a full refund. He also told us we had left items in the room but when we asked to retrieve the forgotten items he told us he had locked us out and we were forced to leave Paris without them. Our appeal for a refund is still pending with Airbnb but we absolutely do NOT recommend this AirBNB

The studio is very small, but has everything you can need, it's close to Montmartre, a very cool neighborhood. The only thing about the studio hasn't enough air ventilation.

This is a great location; very close to the metro and plenty of places to eat. It is very small, so for my very tall American friends, you might have a hard time sleeping in the small bed. You can hear the person living upstairs, and they seem to have a late night schedule. Louis is very helpful and responds quickly with any questions and/or concerns.
