About this listing
Classic midwestern four square conveniently located between historic downtown Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa.
Prototypical four-square house. Larger rooms, high ceilings, wood moulding, big windows. The bedroom is outfitted with a new queen bed, dresser, chess table and chairs. We share the bathroom, but a full bath also exists on the main level if you prefer.
Clean comforter, sheets, linens, towels.
Guests will will have 24-hour access to the house, but we ask that you be courteous and quiet during sleeping hours. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and relax in any of the public areas of the house.
Interaction with guests
We are a family on the move, but we are always glad to meet new people. Of course, we are always available to answer a question or curiosity by phone, text or email.
The Overman Park Neighborhood is in the confluence between downtown and the University - everything is close. Tree-lined streets, sidewalks and a stone's throw from the park. The 120-mile trail network is just 3 blocks away.
We are a biking family and can outfit you for any ride type. The bus serves the area. Like most midwest cities, cars are accommodated as well.
Pretty simple, respect our home, family and neighborhood. Common sense stuff. We love animals, but not in the house (a common Iowa rule).
