Our home is designed to be your home away from home! It has been newly renovated with comfort in mind so you can enjoy your stay in the Berkshires. Whether you are here to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail, stroll into town for a leisurely meal, enjoy Lime Rock Race Track or explore the many surrounding New England towns you can be assured you will always have a comfortable home to come back to!!

The space
The house has a self checkin combination lock. There are three bedrooms and each has a private full bath. The master bedroom is downstairs off of the living room with a queen bed, dressing room and fully tiled bathroom. The second bedroom is also downstairs off the living room with a full size bed and a fully tiled bathroom. The third bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed and a fully tiled bathroom. There is also a living room upstairs that has a trundle bed which can be made into two singled beds. This room would share the upstairs bathroom. If traveling with a small child I can provide a pack and play and a high chair for you to use.

The kitchen has been completely remodeled with a cathedral ceiling and exposed beams to create an open and light room for gathering and cooking. There is a wall oven, gas cook top, dishwasher, microwave and stainless steel refrigerator. There are plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware. There are plenty of pots and pans and bakeware to cook a full meal while staying in. A very comfortable cook in kitchen with open access to the living room and the 42" TV.

The large deck off the kitchen has a table for enjoying outside dinning or just relaxing with a glass of wine. There is a weber grill on the deck for outdoor cooking.

A full size washer and dryer are located off the kitchen.

There is a 42" TV in the downstairs living room and a 32" TV in the upstairs living room. Both TV's are internet run TV's by Roku. You have access to many free channels and can access your own TV accounts such as Netflix or Hulu. The living room has two overstuffed sofas to kick back and relax while watching TV or reading a book. There is also a gas fireplace in the living room.

I have been with the Airbnb community for several years and I enjoy hosting and meeting new people. I believe that the privacy of each guest is important but I am always available if the need arrises. I have lived in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut most of my life and I can say that this is a very special and unique part of the world. It offers great beauty in the outdoors, which I love. Hiking, kayaking or just relaxing in a hammock!!
