A great place for the traveller to stop over or maybe just steal a few days away.We aim to make you feel at home and help you to relax. In the colder months we invite our guests to join us in our rear living area and take in the warmth of the wood fire.
Our guests are treated to a table set just for them for breakfast where they can sit and enjoy something special.
If you are travelling with your pets, they are able to stay inside and are even able to join you in your room.

The space

Our property is called Talbingo and is situated in Culcairn – the Oasis of the Riverina. It was built in 1926 - the Federation era and in recent years, has been lovingly restored.
If you would like to spend some time outdoors on our property, there is a large covered outdoor entertainment area at the rear of the house, a covered verandah which winds around the side and a covered area at the front of our home.

.

Guest access

You will be welcomed into our beautifully furnished main bedroom (Rosemary Room) with Queen sized bed and built in wardrobe. For your comfort the room has a ceiling fan (and pedestal fan) and heating for the colder months. There is a full sized guest bathroom and upon request, you are more than welcome to use our kitchen and laundry. You even have the use of a refrigerator which we provide specifically for our guests.
When you arrive you will have your own driveway which is our second entrance to the property or you can park under our double carport. There is also plenty of space for a boat, caravan or motorhome.
If you would like your own space we will invite you to relax in our formal guest lounge where you will have access to a TV including bluray player (feel free to watch any of our DVDs/Blurays)
WIFI - For your convenience WiFi is provided.

The table will be set just for you! We like to offer our guests cereal (home made toasted muesli when available), croissants or freshly made pancakes and accompany these with fruit, yoghurt and/or jam. Tea and coffee is available any time during your stay.

Peter and Debbie are fantastic warm and welcoming hosts with fantastic place in Culcairn. This is a great stopover if you're driving the inland route to Melbourne from Blue Mountains/Sydney. If not Morgan's Lookout (great recommendation from Peter and Debbie) is well worth a detour.

We are in our early 50s. One of our great loves is to travel and we have recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Perth. Other things we enjoy include eating out and watching movies and musicals. Our two daughters are adults and do not live with us. Debbie's hobbies are to cook and various forms of craft and Peter is a retired professional car detailer and fantastic around the garden.
