  • We felt lucky to stay in such an authentic Venetian place away from the mobs of tourists but close enough to walk to all the major sights. The apartment isn't large, but had everything we needed. It is in a charming section of Venice surrounded by authentic restaurants and cafes.

  • This is a lovely little apartment away from the crowds of Venice, but is a wonderful neighbourhood to explore. The apartment has all you need for your stay and is very large. The only thing missing is wifi but that wasn't important for me! Lots of wonderful bars and restaurants to eat right out the doorstep.

  • Large apt. Good location. Prompt meeting us for key. Hard to find unless you follow the hosts directions.

  • Excellent location in a non-touristy area of Venice with many restaurants and bars extremely close along with a couple of small grocery stores, a bakery, etc. Equally distant short walks from two waterbus routes, and walkable from the bus or train station if you don't have a lot of luggage (we had a lot of luggage, so we took the waterbus and just walked the last short distance from the waterbus stop). Nice spacious bathroom and shower. Large living room with a huge rug, which was nice for our baby to play on. Well-equipped kitchen with some basic cooking ingredients. If you go to bed early or are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs, though, because there is a restaurant directly downstairs from the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Affordable lodging is hard to find in Venice and we were satisfied with the apartment. The unit was located in a quieter part of the city which was good. It was roomy for the four of us and the kitchen was well-equipped. This is not an apartment someone lives in but professionally managed as a rental. Elisa sometimes confuses her units and told us at first that this was right near the train station only correcting herself after we had made the booking. That wasn't a big problem for us but it would have been a problem for guests unable to make the 20 min. walk. Lots of street noise outside until late but that's Venice so just get used to it.

  • Very punctual meeting time and place - communication on getting to the apartment worked out very well and very responsive. The apartment was as described, small but clean and as pictured. As other reviewers have mentioned, it was hot but if you opened the windows at night the mosquitoes invaded which made sleeping difficult. When I tried to call Sabina and her assistants on several different phone numbers to ask a question, no one answered, which was frustrating as we had no cell phone and were limited to the pay phones (no internet in the apartment, but we knew that when we made the reservation). So, overall a mix on communication, good and clean apartment in a great area of town, but very hot and buggy.

  • Highly recommend this apartment for both price and location. It's off the main tourist routes which is a relief! Lots of excellent places to eat in the neighbourhood -- including Ostaria da Roiba directly below -- try the Guinea Fowl pappadelle, delicious! Only thing to note is that the bathroom is an ensuite to the bedroom, so if you have 4 guests staying everyone must pass through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Not a problem for us, but imagine it could be helpful for some guests to know this advance. Elisa, and her assistant Danny, both excellent hosts. Thanks for the great stay.

  • Nice, cosy and clean place for a decent price. Elisa was very responsive and provided me with all necessary information. Perfect.
Piece of advise - no need to take Vaporetto tram to get there from Piazzale Roma or train station. One can easily walk there. It takes 15 - 20 mins - pure pleasure.

  • We had an amazing time in Elisas apartment. Its in the perfect location with some of the best restaurants just outside the door! We got som great tips from her friend Maria on where to go.

Its close to both the Billa supermarket and the vaporetto boats and geting there from the airport is easy. The neighborhood is excellent.

    Highly recommended!
