Any questions, please message us.

Located only minutes from national trust properties such as Mount Stewart house and gardens and 45 minutes from Castle Ward. Over 12 golf courses are nearby including the famous Royal County Down. Mountain bikes are available for free use and we are located directly on Saint Patrick’s trail.

We are located just off the main peninsula road and in the heart of Strangford Lough.

At certain times of the year and during good weather, the road can be busier than usual and attract larger numbers of day trippers and tourists wanting to take in the beautiful coastal road and scenery. Though it’s not an issue, we thought best to mention it.

Other things to note
Ample free parking is available right outside in a private driveway. Towels are supplied and replaced every 3rd day.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are 5 minutes outside of Newtownards town centre. A large market town, it has great coffee shops, restaurants and bars and a farmers market every Saturday selling fresh fish, bread, vegetables and more. The town offers great onward connections to Belfast city, Dublin and beyond. Our location is perfect for nature lovers and those looking some peace and quiet. Strangford lough is home to 75% of the worlds Brent Geese population given our micro climate on the lough and the abundance of eel grass. A great sight to see and hear at certain times of the year! You will also see seals, fish and birds right on your door step. Plenty of outdoor activities are available within minutes of us, by foot or by car. You can cycle to town from your location and also cycle right around Strangford lough if feeling adventurous ! We are in close proximity to the quaint villages of Portaferry and Strangford and also Greyabbey. The towns are connected by a small ferry that sails every day on the half hour. Picture postcard locations, fresh seafood and good Guinness. All located right here on Strangford Lough. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
