The neighbourhood

Ideal for the Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon Tennis, and the West End. The property is close to green spaces: Chelsea Physic Garden (one of the oldest botanic gardens in Europe), Chelsea Royal Hospital (where Masterpiece and the Chelsea Flower Show are held) and Battersea Park (ideal for jogging and recreation). Hyde Park is a ten minute bus journey...
For culture, you are within minutes of the Royal Court Theatre, Cadogan Hall and the Saatchi Gallery. And just one underground stop away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A and in the other direction, Tate Britain. For shopping the Kings Road, Sloane Street and Knightsbridge are on your doorstep. The Pimlico market and the Food Market in Duke of York Square on the Kings Road held each Saturday morning are an opportunity to experience some ‘local' atmosphere.

Getting around

Very centrally located, with Sloane Square tube station (Circle and District line ) a few minutes walk away. Sloane Square also has a large taxi rank and buses going to all parts of London. Victoria Coach Station and Rail Station are also a few minutes walk away, with the Gatwick Express and trains and coaches going to all parts of England....

This is a lovely place to stay and Sashi is SO helpful and lovely! The flat is in a great location and is bright, airy and clean! Can highly recommend this place for anyone thinking about staying

I don't recommend staying at this flat for more than a couple of days - we stayed here for a little over a week. The quality and quantity of linen, towels, cookware/china leaves much to be desired, the wifi is spotty (no dedicated router, there is a repeater from another location), condition of the flat was mixed (bathroom door does not close, blinds control in bedroom broken, etc) Sashi is easy to get in touch with and communicate with, but the value of the apartment went down given the low budget/barebones amenities

In my whole two years of hosting, this has been my most troublesome guest. After a week of toing and froing to establish dates actually required and assist with payment queries, Shriraj booked for TWO guests for nine days, (Two months prior to arrival). The evening BEFORE arrival he asked for a second key for a friend, advising that the friend would pick them up. I had to rush back the next day with an extra key and advise my concierge of the new name. I subsequently received a call, saying items in the apartment were not enough for himself and his parents (despite only booking for TWO, I regularly host up to four in my apartment and always provide what is required dependent on party size). I however agreed to deliver additional glasses, bowls, plates, pillows, towels and bedding. He also requested air conditioning, (despite my advert making no mention of this). I called five places for rental; all were out, this was relayed. Two days later, I received a call stating the internet was not working and required for a business call. I returned to the apartment from dinner (at a cost of £26). Upon arriving and phoning, I was advised that “all was ok”, I had not touched the router. Four days in, I received a text at 11pm stating “Microwave not working, hair dryer not working, internet not working”. Upon visiting, I established that the microwave buttons were not being pushed properly, the incorrect button was being used on the hairdryer and the internet was working on all devices (including my iPad and iPhone) except his father’s laptop. I was asked if I or my concierge were able to phone the company that supplied my router to find out why this one laptop was not receiving signal. On the day of departure, one of my keys was taken by them. I had to wait until the evening for this to be returned, so had to arrange with my cleaner to drop off her key in time for my next guest’s arrival. On top of all this, my cleaner advised me that the place was left in a complete mess! I believe Shriraj and his family thought they had purchased the services of a five star hotel with waiting staff and not booked themselves into a self-catering apartment. I would suggest that in future, should they require a central Zone 1 located Chelsea dwelling with similar square footage; they pay six times the cost of my apartment and book said hotel. Kindly reference the multiple other excellent reviews of my apartment, as these are far more accurate. Thank you

Sashi was very quick to respond to all of my questions and was super helpful with information about the area, how to get there from the airport, restaurant recommendations, etc. etc. He is a great host and I would definitely recommend him. Also, this flat is very centrally located so it was easy to get anywhere you could possibly want to go. Sainsbury's right on the corner and it is totally safe, even late night!
