Enjoy Arkansas Wine Country in this remodeled 1878 homestead. We are set atop St. Mary’s mountain in Altus with a panoramic view of the Arkansas river valley. Great for large groups or family gatherings, with covered parking, an outdoor fireplace room, and large yard for outdoor activities. We are steps from historic St. Mary’s Church, minutes from 6 wineries, 3 breweries, canoeing/ATV/biking near the Mulberry River, touring Subiaco Abbey, and exploring and hiking Mt. Magazine state park. Enjoy!

The space
Our historic homestead has been lived in by four generations of our family. It has a cozy feel and a charm of a farmhouse. There is plenty of gathering space, including a sleeping loft that has floor space for children to “camp out.” Our family’s father was born and raised in this house, and we lived here with our 7 children for many years. It is a house full of good memories and is set in a peaceful, beautiful spot. There is covered parking for 3 vehicles, and an outdoor fireplace room that is perfect for s’mores, a glass of wine, and storytelling. You will feel at home here, and we look forward to sharing our small town hospitality with you.

Our family has been growing grapes and making wine here in Altus for 6 generations since 1880. We have deep roots here and are enthusiastic to share our love for the area and all that it has to offer!
My husband,Joseph, and I have 7 children and enjoy modeling for them the joys of hospitality. Not only do visitors enjoy the view of the Arkansas River Valley from our Homestead, but also the outdoor fireplace, the rich history of our area, and personal tours of our winery and vineyards.
We are a large family that enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life and sharing our story.
