Feel at home in this charming 2 bed/1 bath bungalow in a quiet, historic neighborhood! The property features refinished hardwood floors, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful decor and updated fixtures in the bathroom. A modern kitchen offers new appliances, the essentials for cooking, a charging station, and a coffee bar with snacks. Retreat to the spacious fenced in yard and lounge on the patio.

History is important to us so we updated the space while staying true the original character & feel.

The space
Our home is professionally cleaned by the same person between each stay.

Dogs are subject to host approval and require a $75 pet fee to cover additional cleaning costs. We have a 2 dog maximum based on the size of our property. You are responsible to clean up pet waste in the yard. We are unable to host other pets at this time.

We are proud to be earth conscious! 100% of the energy consumed in this dwelling is offset by green power. We also recycle.

A single-serve Keurig coffee maker, French press, tea kettle, sugar, honey, creamer, and light snacks are available in the welcome nook. We're pleased to serve a variety of coffee brands, including our local favorite Hubbard & Cravens.

The home is equipped with a SMART TV. Kick back and relax with YouTubeTV, Hulu, Netflix, & Disney+.

Forget something? We got you! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup wipes are available for your convenience in the bathroom. Extra toiletries are stored in the linen cupboard. Please take only what you need.

Got kids? We do too! We're happy to accommodate with child-friendly items (toys, coloring books, pack and play, table booster seat, etc.) as requested. Note that the property is kid friendly but not necessarily child-proof.

Our family loves to play board games! We keep a rotating assortment in the welcome area.

For safety reasons we ask that you do not use the fireplace during your stay. There is absolutely no smoking in the home. Please & thank you!

Butler-Tarkington is a historic community on the North side of Indianapolis with charming old homes & mature trees. Butler University borders the west side of the neighborhood. The area has many local shops & restaurants and convenient walking and biking paths. Famed American novelists Booth Tarkington and Kurt Vonnegut both called Butler Tarkington home at one time.
