Our Shepherd's Hut provides the perfect secluded, rural getaway to escape, relax and unwind!

Our cosy hut has a fully plumbed en-suite shower room and toilet inside the hut.

It is set in its own private garden, tucked away in the quiet countryside of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Escape to relax in the hot tub with food cooked on your own gas BBQ.

The hut is complete with a kitchenette, fold down table, a double bed, three quarter bunk and for cosy nights in, a log burner.

The space
Situated on our small farm, complete with our three pet Highland cattle who you are welcome to meet, and our three baby boer goats. Tucked away with a fenced private garden, featuring a luxury hot tub and under-cover outdoor BBQ area.

Perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all, or as a base to explore the local area.

Guest access
The Shepherd's Hut sits within its own secure, post and railed garden, a short walk up a grass track from the ample car parking that is available on site.

There is a small flight of steps up to the hut and the 3/4 bunk is accessed via a ladder.

Our little farm is powered by 100% renewable energy!

We are just off the Wolds Way and we know some lovely local walks and biking routes. We will be happy to share them with you. And we’re only a short drive from the beautiful city of York or stunning coastlines.

We welcome quiet (no excessive barking), well behaved dogs that must be on leads at all times (except when in your private garden, provided you’re satisfied they cannot scale the fence). Dogs must not worry our goats which are next to the hut or the other animals, and we strongly recommend that you’re confident that your dog is well behaved to this end or your booking maybe brought to an end early. £12 per night per dog is payable on arrival. Dogs are not to be left alone, in the hut or gardens at anytime, under any circumstances. Dogs are not to go into the hot tub or the bed/bedding please. There is a £50 charge for soiled bedding. 2 dogs maximum.

We’re also less than an hour from the beautiful Flamborough cliffs and Fraisthorpe Beach. And less than 10 minutes away are Allerthorpe Lakeland Park, Burnby Hall Gardens, the KP Golf Club & Spa.
