The dammuso "Specchio di Venere" is located on the north-eastern coast of the island in the district Kartibugal and overlooks one of the most picturesque coves and appreciated, especially by the many sailing vessels, which in summer refuge in this quiet cove called “ Cala 5 denti”, for the five teeth of lava rock that is reread from the sea. The road leading to the property is of Roman origin; if you continue to follow it you get to the lake “Specchio di Venere” of Pantelleria, from which the name of the dammuso. The walk is very pleasant and the view of the lake from the top is truly wonderful.
The dammuso, once intended only to rural use, or temporary acceptance of the farmer on their land and storage of tools and products necessary for cultivation, is today the typical house built in cut stone of Pantelleria.
In particular, the dammuso "Specchio di Venere" is composed of a central core, part of which is the oldest part of the property and an outbuilding.
Core: living room with sofa bed, dining area, alcove with kitchen, two double rooms, two bathrooms with shower.
Annexe: double room, small alcove for children and an outdoor bathroom with a special shower in the rock.
The property also has a large outdoor area, solarium, two outdoor dining areas, oven and barbecue grills.

Other things to note
Pantelleria is an island unlike any other.
Anyone who has walked around the world will find here a collection together of all the elements that made us love so many other islands.
Wild, rugged, windy, but at the same time welcoming, generous, charming, full of spectacular natural surprises that never cease to amaze in every season of the year.
Pantelleria is this wonder to be discovered slowly, with respect and a bit of patience and it
is not unlikely that this does not turn into love, like that of those who know it for many years and continue to love it and appreciate it, enthusiasts, as me.
