Had a great 2 night stay at Yew Trees Cottage, the perfect country escape! Helpful host & comfortable but very clean cottage. The hot tub was an excellent addition. Couldn't recommend highly enough

We had a great couple of nights at Yew Trees Cottage. Jane was a smashing host, very friendly and helpful with great communication and Rowan the Labrador was brilliant with our dog Hugo. We felt at home straight away in this very peaceful setting. Duns town centre is a 2 minute drive away and handy for food shopping & takeaways. We were lucky to have nice weather which helps but if the weather was bad you could be nice and cozy with the log burner lit up. Good dark skies for star gazing on the first night but cloudy the second. Paxton House and Ford & Etal well worth a visit. Thanks again Jane.

The house and hot tub are great, we could hear an owl at night but never managed to see it. Lots to do within a short drive if the property. Good location.

Jane was easy to communicate with and gave us very good instructions for finding the cottage. The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was lovely, in a beautiful setting, nothing better than relaxing in such a peaceful place, under a starry (un light polluted) sky. Jane gave us good instructions how to stoke the fire for the hot tub keeping it just the right temperature. She was friendly and approachable helping us out with a good takeaway recommendation. The area surrounding the cottage is absolutely beautiful. It would have been good to have longer, but we had a lovely day out in Berwick an interesting old town with good walks round the walls and along the breakwater out to sea!
