Beautiful luxury Bothy situated in the stunning bays area of the Isle of Harris. The Bothy was handcrafted and brought to the island from the Cotswolds and sits looking out over the sea above the tranquil small working fishing harbour below. It has Wifi, TV, HiFi fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer and bathroom and hot water and heating throughout. It sleeps 2 adults in one double bed and has stunning views from its opening round french doors and recently built large sun deck.

The space
The Bothy is tastefully decorated and heated so is cozy and warm all year round. Its set next to our Crofthouse property but is privately enclosed by a ranch style fence and tubbed trees and has its own private access gate to maintain privacy during your stay. It has a recently built lovely sun deck with stunning views over the sea.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our neighbourhood is unique as we are at the end of a small road away from the main roads and yet next to one of the few working harbours in South Harris so the boats can be seen coming to a fro each day. We are within 10 minutes of the west coast beaches while also being situated within the beautiful bays area of the east coast and only 10 minutes from Tarbert for local amenities.

Hi. We’re Jonny and Jacki, husband and wife. We rebuilt, installed and restored all of our properties to add subtle character and individuality while retaining originality and period features. The Crofthouse is our own holiday home in Harris and our pretty Edinburgh period listed colonies flat is our city home that we rent out to guests when we’re not there. The Bothy on Harris is a self contained tiny house made of larch lovingly furnished in its own grounds at the crofthouse looking out over the sea.
