I had an excellent stay. The location is perfect for exploring Chicago, the old city has an excellent array of cafes and restaurants, plus proximity to Lincoln park and the lakefront. Downtown is a short cab ride away, but the area was so lovely I barely left it. Highly recommend!

Leah's apartment is absolutely charming and cozy! My friend and I travelled from opposite ends of the country to explore Chicago for the first time and found the experience to be lovely. Leah was very welcoming and responsive when planning the trip and checking in. The location was perfect, close enough to see touristy attractions and to experience the neighborhood vibes of Old Town and the surrounding area. If I visit Chicago again, I would love to stay at Leah's apartment!

Leah's is a cozy little haven, perfect for a singular traveler or a couple. The location is great, with all conveniences nearby: grocery store, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, stores, etc., as well as Lincoln Park being a stone throw away. If you just need a small but comfortable place to stay at the end of an adventurous day without any frills, this is perfect.

Good location close to Lincoln Park and free entrence zoo and a good grocery store. Atmospheric apartment in old and interesting building. Wooden black stairs by the narrow building give final touch for this one of the kind experience. Host was great.

Leah's place is adorable and just as described but with a bit more charm in person. The location is ideal. She's a great communicator... all of my inquiries were answered right away. Check in and check out were both super easy. I'd stay here again next time I'm in town.

We had a great stay at Leah's place. It's as cute as a button. The apartment is historic and Leah has decorated it in a vintage style, so it's like stepping back in time. It comes with all the necessary amenities, including good wi fi. No TV, which we appreciated, since we didn't go to Chicago to watch TV. Because it's old, there are quirks - patience is a virtue while the water gets hot. We live in a 90 year old house so we felt right at home! The bed is comfortable, and with just an open window the Apt stayed cool. The location couldn't be better - Old Town is close to the Lake, which has a great walking path towards Navy Pier and downtown. Lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood and there's a supermarket next door. And Second City is right across the street - nice bonus! Even though it's right on a commercial street, it was very quiet at night. We felt like we got a true Chicago experience and would stay there again in a heart beat. Thanks, Leah, for being a great host. We really appreciated your flexibility regarding our arrival time and liked that you checked in to see how things were going.

I love my vintage apartment and I'm happy to share it with visitors. I enjoy reading, playing music, and going to yard sales.
