The space
Our home has five bedrooms, a large main living area, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a large deck (with dining table, lounge chairs, and BBQ) with views of Barrington Bay. Perfect for a family or group looking to vacation (or reconnect with) in Barrington.

A large grassy backyard that includes some of Barrington’s tallest elm trees is a great spot to play games, walk, and relax.

Towels and linens will be provided for the stay, there will be no housekeeping.

Barrington Passage is the Lobster Capital of Canada and is home to the freshest lobster, fish, and other seafood you can experience in a restaurant or cooked back at Grampy's House.

The town is close to many beautiful, pristine, white sand beaches including Sandhills Provincial Park (10 min away), Causeway Beach (5 min away), The Hawk Beach (15 min away) and many more.

There are several trails in the area for walkers, runners, and cyclists, including the Barrington Bay Trail, which includes with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean all along the trail (1 min away).

The Hawk (15 min away) is one of the prime birdwatching locations in Eastern Canada and is a quick boat ride from Nova Scotia's most southern point (Cape Sable) and its tallest lighthouse (Cape Sable Light).

Barrington is home of the famous Nova Scotia Marathon and 'Grampy's House' is along the route. It's a perfect place to rest up before the race if you're a participant!
