Newly renovated with designer elegance & stunning views, located along the Irish loop on the scenic Avalon Peninsula. Located in an active fishing community you can purchase fresh seafood at the local wharf, pick blueberries, hike the east coast trail, or whale watch from the comfort of your living room or porch. Within a 20 min drive to bird watching at the Witless Bay, the Colony of the Avalon in Ferryland a premiere historical/archeological site and La Manche park with its suspension bridge.

The space
This is designer elegance with a pristine view. The entire home has been done by custom design and has a lovely freshness throughout. Everything you need when away from home is provided in this 2+1 bedroom hide away. Living room has a wood burning stove (purchase wood at the Ultramar is Cape Broyle 10 minutes away). There is a family bathroom on the top floor with a bath and a second washroom on the main floor with a shower. The family room has a fold out premium queen sized bed along with 50 " TV and a door for privacy. There is Internet and Wi-Fi but cell phone reception in the community is spotty. The deck looks out over the ocean and has a bar-b-que for outdoor grilling. When the whales are feeding in the bay, you can leave your window open at night to hear them breach and slap the ocean surface.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire cabin. There are 2.2 acres of land behind and access to forest and hiking trails. If you want to try you hand at black smithing in the forge let us know and we will put you in touch with the Kilted Smith.

Other things to note
As Brigus South is a very small unincorporated municipality, Airbnb considers the property to be in Cape Broyle, however, it is important to note, the cottage is not directly in Cape Broyle but rather about 5 km before entering the main community of Cape Broyle when travelling west from St. John's. Please also note that although we pay for the highest level of internet service available through the provider, Bell Aliant, there can be issues with the WiFi and it is difficult to get quick responses from the provider due to location.
