Our Studio rental is a cozy welcoming space designed to provide comfort and convenience to your Lakeshore stay! Easy access to the highway and all city ammenities. Keypad entry allows for seamless guest access. Parking is plenty and it's quiet! Come get away from it all and enjoy the Lakeshore!

The space
We are on a double lot located on the end of a residential cul-de-sac. Nestled into a wooded area makes for beautiful views and a quiet stay for vacation or work from home. The Studio is a finished walk-out basement with plenty of light due to the sliding glass door that leads to the garden and two windows that look out to the yard/woods and your private guest picnic area (seasonal). A common-area fire pit and outdoor seating lounge is available upon request. We have a kitchenette and recently added a table-top double burner, pots and pans and cooking utensils for guests who want to cook. We have a mini grig, toaster, Keurig, microwave, dishes and flatware. There is NO oven.

Guest access
The briquette BBQ and picnic table, umbrella and some chairs are available for guests to enjoy (seasonal/weather permitting.)

The fire-pit seating lounge is for the family. Guest are welcome to inquire about and book for use on a case by case basis.

Other things to note
There is floor space for two air queen mattresses for extra guests. Also some guests choose to sleep on the couch or in the recliner.

Need room for an extra car, boat, camper or RV?

We have a long driveway with space for your vehicles so please message us for more information on extra vehicle parking fee schedule.

Location

Spring Lake, Michigan, United States

Centrally located, we're only a mile and a half from Highway 31 off the Van Waggoner exit. We are on a quiet residential street 2 blocks from Spring Lake. There are a few public lake access points nearby.

Leppinks grocery is 2 miles away and Meijer and Walmart are less than 5 miles away. The Reef market is conveniently located in our neighborhood for those items you forgot at the store.

Smith's Bridge is a half mile walk and is a popular local fishing spot with great Spring Lake views.

Pine Street Cafe serves breakfast and is a mile walk or quick bike ride away. Old Boys and The Small Town Sandwhich Shop are also a bike ride away. For dessert, A La Mode is also a mile and a half bike ride.

There are many areas for lunch, dinner, coffee, desserts, and shopping in downtown GH. In Grand Haven, our favorite breakfast spot is the Morning Star Cafe--you'll want to drive or ride bikes to GH. Noto's has the best beach view for dinner, beachside drinks and/or Sunday brunch. For a more casual waterfront experience, we also like Snug Harbor and their outside deck overlooking the Grand River. The Kirby rooftop deck is fun but has a limited food menu. Foodies frequent The Kirby Grille next door and we love The Copper Post too! Righteous Cuisine is a casual foodie spot but a little off the beaten path in GH. The Armory offers great coffee, craft beer, food and live music with a gallery of local artisan work upstairs. The Oddside Bar is another great spot for coffee, food and craft beers.

The boardwalk to the lighthouse is a beautiful walk or bike ride with many dessert shops along the way. This leads you to Grand Haven Pier and GH State Beach which is a 48-acre park with the beautiful sandy shore of Lake Michigan along the west side of the park and the Grand River along the north side of the park. The park consists entirely of beach sand and provides scenic views of Lake Michigan and the Grand Haven pier and lighthouse. Activities include camping, fishing, sunbathing, volleyball and swimming. On the opposite side of the Grand River is a North Beach Park a 7-acre park that offers swimming and sunbathing along 745 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline. During the summer, a barrier-free beach walkway is available. Visitors can also climb the wooden stairway to the top of a dune for a panoramic view of Lake Michigan. Great workout or just take it slow and enjoy the view! http://visitgrandhaven.com/listing/north-beach-park/

Hiking trails to the beach are best at Rosy Mound Natural Area, P.J. Hoffmaster State Park.

We also have an Escape Room and a movie theater.

There is a mall in Norton Shores just a few miles north on Highway 31.
