Charming country house with top facilities and a stunning view of Norway´s biggest lake. Mjøsli is a calm cabin area for year-round use, located only an hour from Oslo, and 30 min from Oslo Airport. Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers activities such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, hunting, fishing, and cross country skiing. Several playgrounds for kids. The cottage is luxurious and fully equipped, WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €15 pr person.

The space
Welcome to our country house with a panoramic view you will never forget. We love the surroundings and spend a lot of weekends year-round that we want to share with you. Mjøsli is the perfect place for relaxation and has an amazing view.
The house has a modern standard luxury fireplace and it is equipped with up-to-date amenities. The entire cabin was renovated in May 2019. We used local Norwegian ecological high-quality wooden walls and floors from Os trekultur. We hope you will find our place reflective of our preferences and feel "at home" in our home.

Spend your perfect family gatherings in our spacious living room and kitchen. The living room has two comfortable sofas. Our house is suited for couples, solo travelers, business people and families with children. Parties are strictly prohibited at the property. Do feel free to use the food you find in the house. It is free of charge and in real Airbnb spirit. There is also a playground for children in the cabin area, a trampoline, sand volleyball, and soccer facilities. The property is fenced and perfect for dogs. We offer free WiFi access, Apple with Netflix, and Telia App channels. We do recommend guests bring their own Apple TV for convenience. Bedding & towels can be rented for €15 per person for guests from abroad.

One of the small bedrooms has a small TV ready to be connected to your game consoles with an HDMI cable. Bring your own Nintendo Switch or Playstsaion and kids can enjoy playing in a separate room. We have good WiFi for streaming, gaming, and home office.

Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers activities such as hiking, perfect conditions for cross country skiing in winter 5 minutes away, many great fishing and swimming lakes in a short distance, Tangen Zoo 25 min, climbing park Helgøya, canoeing, mountain biking and swimming and the summer the house has sun all day and an incredible view of Norway's biggest lake, Mjøsa.

Places to visit:
Stange Vestbygd is also called ‘Nordens Toscana’ because of the beautiful landscape. The location is near lake Mjøsa and is surrounded by overwhelming nature. Skafferiet restaurant på Helgøya is beautiful in summer and November during the Christmas market.

We are sharing our second home with you because it is a crime to keep this view for ourselves. We built the cabin in 2010 - and we can’t get enough of this fantastic view.
We are usually at the area in one of our other cabins; if assistance is necessary, we are at your service, most likely in two minutes.

Our gest requirements:
We require all guests to submit a government-issued ID to Airbnb before requesting a booking. For convenience reasons, we recommend all guests download the Airbnb App. If you wish to rent more than a year in advance, use Airbnb through a web browser.

Our cancelation policy is Strict.
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. We recommend everyone have travel insurance in case you need to cancel your trip.

We refurbished the entire cabin May 2019. The materials we have used are local Norwegian ecological high quality wooden walls and floors from Os trekultur.

We do hope you will find our place reflective of our own preferences and feel "at home" in our home.
