The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a unique amazing space, a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris.
Features include a central dome roof window, separate shower room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and wood burning stove, and of course a double bed.
The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light. Is well insulated, warm and cosy

The space
The property is just 5 miles from the village and ferry port of Tarbert with shops, restaurants, Dr's surgery etc. There are many lovely walks in the area and the Isle of Scalpay with locally renowned seafood bistro, and walk to the lighthouse just across the bridge. The property is ideal for a longer stay exploring the rest of Harris or a night or two of unique living before boarding the ferry.
The yurt is sited next to my Gallery and Tea Room, which is open during the week from 10.30am - 17.30
