Modern comfort within old Southern charm! Minutes to attractions! Located in the Historic Lower Garden District, in a safe and eclectic residential neighborhood. 2 miles/15 min to French Quarter, and 12 miles/25 min from MSY Airport. We keep everything comfy, cozy, and clean. After an all day exploration of New Orleans you will come home where you truly can relax and regenerate for the next day.

The space
The space is perfect for business travelers needing a convenient and comfortable place to work and rest. Whether you're looking to house a single important client or an entire team of 6, the space can work for any budget and provide clean comfort and quiet focus with classic elegance and modern amenities. It is centrally located for quick commute to any destination. It has an office space with a desk and adjustable office chair for getting work done as well as additional work space at the dining table or in the parlor. At 1 mile/8 min to the Convention Center it's an ideal place to stay when in town for an event. You can make it there quickly in the mornings and come back to a comfortable place to relax after a long day of walking around. The space is set up for 4 in the photos, but can be rearranged to sleep 2 more with the addition of a pull-out queen sized bed.

Our home was originally built in 1919 with many historic details kept in tact since it's renovation. It is a type of two-address duplex with a layout called a "Shotgun" style home in New Orleans, also called a railroad or walk-through apartment in other regions. It is newly renovated and features 12 ft ceilings, crown molding, original hardwood floors, original brick fireplaces and mantels, original pocket doors, large windows, and plantation shutters. From the front porch you can see the tower of St. Mary's Assumption Church, and hear the bells chime on the hour in the distance.

Once inside, enjoy a parlor with streaming entertainment on demand, full kitchen, office space, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, 2 full bathrooms, WiFi, central A/C and heat. You can rest easy at night knowing that the property has 5 outdoor surveillance cameras, sensors on all doors and windows, indoor motion detector, and 24-hour monitoring service, as well as monthly pest control service.

We welcome each reservation with fresh flowers, a welcome card, and a chilled bottle of champagne. We have tried to include anything that a guest may need during their stay and are constantly updating this list based on guest recommendations.

Where you’ll be

New Orleans, Louisiana, United States

Our neighborhood has a very unique, eclectic flavor all its own. Centered around Coliseum Square, the area is one of graceful vistas and curving streets, replete with classical names like Dryades, Melpomene, and Terpsichore. Lee Circle, originally named Tivoli Circle, was envisioned as an anchor for the nine streets that extend from it, all named after the nine muses. The houses here actually predate those of the Garden District proper, since they were built in the early years of the 19th century during the city's upriver expansion from the French Quarter. Today, as in the past, the Lower Garden District is a neighborhood ripe for discovery, filled with architectural gems, magnificent old streets, interesting residents, and a rich cultural heritage that only gets better with time.

Take a short walk to Magazine Street where there is something for everyone. Miles of retail therapy can be found all over. Shop rare antiques, luxurious artwork, and stylish boutiques. Choose restaurants, from classic to modern, upscale to casual, and brunch to late-night munchies. Enjoy drinks, from college and neighborhood dive bars to craft cocktails, there’s no shortage of lively spots. Take the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar to the zoo, parks, universities, and cemeteries. You can also walk to local breweries, unique coffee shops, restaurants, and the grocery store.

Iwona, originally from Poland, and Kirk living in New Orleans. We have traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S., staying mostly in hostels and airbnbs. We love meeting new people and seeing new places. The only thing we need in life is the freedom to pursue our dreams. We think that every person before exploring the world should first explore the country they are living in. Someone once told us that when we get comfortable in life we stop living. Therefore we try to step out of our comfort zone and see whats out there.
